Rashid Azam is a famous Pakistani naat khawan. He was born on 19 December 1976. He has done graduation from Pakistan. Rashid Azam stared naat khawani from 1983. When he was just 7 years old. Rashid Azam was awarded with certificate of commendation by President Pakistan in 2012. He also holds Quaid-e-Azam, Saarc and Cassette Melody awards. He released first time ever video cassette of naats in 2000 in Pakistan.  Muhammad Rashid Azam visited many countries outside Pakistan for reciting naats in the world. People know him for his is famous melodious and heart touching unique style of reciting naats.

Hundred’s of students have learnt the art of Naat khawani from Rashid Azam. Muhammad Rashid Azam loves to recite naats in his childhood. He won many naat competitions in Pakistan. Some famous naats of Rashid Azam’s are Der pa bulao makki madni and Ki ki na kita yaar ne  and some others.
